NFB Formats Workshop, Toronto, Feb. 2017

On February 28th Ragnhild Milewski (Sales Manager Stock footage, film excerpts and stills), Lea Nakonechny (Sales Agent, Stock Footage) and Pierre Ferlatte (Head, Technical Resources) from the NFB headquarters in Montreal came to Toronto and put on a special presentation just for our VRSC/ARAC members. The session was conducted in English and was the same as the one put on in French in 2016 in Montreal for our members based there.

The session was divided between an overview of their library as well as a component focusing on the technical aspects of formats from screeners, masters, ordering guidance, etc. It was a very useful session which was well attended and we all learned a lot.
